Sweaty Armpits – How To Get Rid Of Sweaty Armpits

If you are suffering from sweaty armpits, then it can be quiet annoying and embarrassing. Many people think that it is just something they have to cope with, but the truth of the matter is that it is a recognized medical condition called axilliary hyperhidrosis. There are many people who suffer from this condition.

Many times, people will feel uncomfortable in social situations and will want to avoid being around others, because they feel ashamed and isolated because of their excessive problems. Excessively sweaty armpits most often appear during puberty, just like acne. But unlike acne, which in most cases disappears when people get older, anxilliary hypderhidrosis stays with people in their adult lifes, if they don’t do something about it.

For a teenager it’s pretty bad, because this is usually the time when most people start to look for a partner, and when it’s specially important to have good friends. But someone who “sweats like a pig” is an easy target of insulting comments from others.

How can you tell if your sweaty armpits are really a case of axilliary hyperhidrosis? That is a good question to ask, because all to often we might actually overreact when we think that something is “not right with us”.

If you are sweating all the time, extremely, like dripping sweat, from your armpits, and you als have persistent body odor that can’t be eliminated by using deodorants, then it’s almost sure that you are suffering from axilliary hyperhidrosis. Typically, people with this condition wear mostly black colored clothes because other colors make the sweat stains more visible. Also, only certain fabrics can be used.

Many also change their shirts several times a day, because one shirt wouldn’t be enough, because it gets soaked so quickly. Another common coping strategy is to wear several layers of clothing on top of each other. The reasoning behind that is that most of the sweat will get absorbed by the inner layer of clothing, and thus invisible on the outer layers. So it’s basically a way of “trying to cover it up”.

But the problem with that strategy is of course that wearing several layers of clothing makes you feel even hotter, causing you to sweat even a bit more again.

(Although there are other factors that play a role too. E.g. anxiety and fear often cause people to break out in a sweat).

There are different lotions and antiperspirants available for people with excessive sweating problems, most of which contain aluminum chloride hexahydrate. But be aware that these lotions in most cases can only – if at all – provide temporarily relief from your problem, because they work by “clogging” your sweat ducts.

There are also natural ways to get rid of sweaty armpits and cure axilliary hyperhidrosis. It will take one to two weeks to completely get rid of sweaty armpits this way, but it is a risk-free offer, meaning: if the method doesn’t work for you, you get all your money back. However, according to the latest numbers I have, 96% of the people who try this method to cure axilliary hyperhidrosis succeed in doing so permanantly.
